Fort Portal City is committed to equipping its workforce with practical, market-ready skills, supporting local industry, small enterprise, and the growing tourism and agro-processing sectors that anchor the City’s economy.
The Government has also pledged to establish an industrial park in the wider Tooro sub-region, with land already secured in Kyaka to support value addition, job creation, and regional economic growth, a development expected to open further industrial training and employment opportunities for Fort Portal residents in the years ahead.
